I have been thinking on the Presidential election and the contrasts between our two candidates. Many people tend to use Romney's strong affiliation with the Mormon faith as a means to denegrate his character. But aside from school yard teasing and paranoid assumptions I see no threat what so ever from what Romney proclaims to be his faith and the welfare of our country. If one looks at the tenets of social behavior demanded from the doctrine of faith in Mormonism we see a plethora of virtue. No drinking of alcohol. No smoking (pot included). No cussing or similar foul language. No caffiene. An emphasis is placed on helping the poor and the needy. All of these if followed cannot be detrimental but instead demonstrate strong and devoted character to those things which are physically beneficial. I feel to be of this kind of character, you most likely are likewise in how you conduct business and social interactions.
