A poem for me
A poem that ryhmes
To help us see
That friends are good
and what we need
they see the heart
before it bleeds
they see concern
within our mind
they come to us
and they always find
the words to say
the way we feel
the things they do
are always real
never fake
cuz who needs that
a lamb at first
but really a rat
never do we
ever feel
that what friends do
could ruin the deal
made in secret
without a word
done in silence
and never heard
but always felt
and always known
and by their actions
it's always shown
the reality of friendship
the invaluable gold
the thing you grasp
and is never sold
because friendship is forever
and always yours
through the toughest storms
they reach the shores
they help you through
the toughest times
what they do
transcend all ryhmes
so read this poem
but know its's more
than words put down
one, two, three, four...
Life goes deeper
and friendship too
it lasts forever
until life is through
So treasure all
the friendships made
because all they give
can't be repaid
