Thank God For Friends

It's a prayer
a simple request
to ask a friend
not just our best

But friends we know
who care and hope
who give us words
that help us cope

That call out to powers
we can't comprehend
that hear the prayers
these people send

The creator feels faith
and knows when it's strong
a little is all
to right every wrong

When we are in need
we call to the one
who gave us our purpose
who sent us his son

He knows every hair
that sits on our head
he made everything
both living and dead

The Alpha and Omega
the beginning and the end
the one who hears our prayers
from family and friend

Grace is his gift
and sufficient his love
he is always around us
flowing through from above

In ways we can't see
our ever understand
he touches our pain
and heals with his hand

Thank God for his blessings
Thank God for his care
Thank God for our friends
and the love that they share
